Accessibility matters here.
Creating inclusive spaces — online and in real life — is an important part of this work. This page shares our commitment to accessibility and our ongoing efforts to ensure everyone has equal access to the content, message, and experiences we offer. Because accessibility isn’t optional — it’s how we make sure everyone gets to be included.

If you want it shorter, more formal, or more personal, I can tweak it in seconds.

Accessibility Statement

Last updated: January 8, 2026

Christian Struthers and Real Life Rambles are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply relevant accessibility standards to the best of our ability.

Our goal is to provide a website experience that is inclusive, welcoming, and usable for all visitors — because everyone deserves access to information, inspiration, and opportunity.

What web accessibility is

Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with websites effectively. An accessible website allows visitors to browse with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other users, whether they are using assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice recognition software, or other accessibility tools.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We strive to make our websites accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

As part of this effort, we aim to:

  • Use clear and consistent heading structures across pages

  • Provide alternative text for images where possible

  • Maintain readable color contrast and legible typography

  • Support keyboard navigation and screen reader compatibility

  • Reduce unnecessary motion and animations when feasible

  • Ensure that embedded media and downloadable content are as accessible as possible

Our websites are built using the Wix platform, which includes built-in accessibility tools and features. While we continue to improve accessibility, some elements may not yet be fully optimized across all pages or devices.

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content

Some content on our websites may rely on third-party platforms or services, including but not limited to embedded videos, ticketing tools, or scheduling features provided through Wix or other external services.

Because we do not control the accessibility of these third-party components, we declare partial compliance with accessibility standards for any pages that include such content. We make reasonable efforts to select platforms that prioritize accessibility whenever possible.

Accessibility for Speaking Engagements

Christian Struthers is committed to accessibility not only online, but also in live speaking environments. When participating in events, we work collaboratively with venues and organizers to support accessibility accommodations whenever possible, including seating, stage access, audio considerations, and other reasonable needs.

Accessibility matters — not as an afterthought, but as a shared responsibility.

Our Commitment

Accessibility is deeply personal to this work. Having lived through serious injury and recovery, Christian understands firsthand how access, patience, and thoughtful design can shape a person’s ability to participate fully in life.

“I Get To” is more than a tagline — it reflects a mindset of gratitude, inclusion, and recognizing opportunity where it exists. That philosophy guides our ongoing commitment to accessibility and continuous improvement.

Requests, issues, and suggestions
